FAQ
Questions we hear before intake.
Straight answers about TrustLife — what we do, what we do not do, and how estate planning works in practice.

No. TrustLife Legal Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202764592M) is a Singapore solicitor-led law practice registered at 12 Marina View, #33-04 Asia Square Tower 2. We draft wills, trusts, and related estate instruments — we do not sell wellness programmes, operate a mobile document scanner, provide investment or financial planning advice, or promise guaranteed legal outcomes.
Some visitors arrive after misreading the ".life" domain or advertisements that combine lifestyle imagery with legal keywords. We are not a life-coaching platform, a will-template download shop, or a robo-adviser. We do not guarantee that a particular probate application will succeed, that a trust will achieve specific tax results, or that any court or tribunal will decide in your favour. Legal outcomes depend on facts, evidence, and applicable law.
If you expected a lifestyle product, financial product recommendation, or guaranteed result, you have reached a law firm by mistake. For estate planning counsel, continue below or request an intake meeting.

A will takes effect on death and passes through probate (unless assets pass by survivorship or nomination). A trust holds assets during your lifetime or after death under trustee management, which can delay or control distribution. We recommend one or both depending on your asset types, beneficiary ages, and privacy preferences.

We retain sealed physical copies in our secure records and can provide certified copies on request. We do not operate a consumer-facing digital vault or blockchain storage product. Executors should know where the original signed will is kept — we discuss storage options at execution.

Standard wills are quoted at fixed fees confirmed before drafting. Probate, litigation, and complex trust work are billed on capped hourly rates or agreed milestones. Disbursements and GST are stated separately. We do not begin work beyond intake without your written fee confirmation.
-
We review your nominations as part of estate mapping and flag inconsistencies with your will. We do not sell insurance products or provide financial advice on fund selection. Coordination with your financial adviser or insurer is encouraged where needed.

Yes. We represent executors, beneficiaries, and challengers in probate disputes. Contested matters are scoped separately with litigation fee estimates. We do not guarantee any particular court outcome.
