1. Website purpose
trustlife.life provides general information about TrustLife Legal's estate planning and related legal services in Singapore. The website is an informational channel only. It does not create a solicitor-client relationship. No legal advice is provided through website content alone. Content describes our Atrium approach to wills, trusts, probate, corporate succession, contract drafting, conveyancing, and compliance work.
2. No solicitor-client relationship
Contacting us through the website, contact form, or email does not establish a solicitor-client relationship until we confirm engagement in writing. Do not send confidential or privileged information until an engagement letter is executed and conflict checks completed. Information sent before engagement may not be protected by legal professional privilege. We may decline enquiries that create conflicts or fall outside our expertise.
3. Permitted use
You may view and download website content for personal, non-commercial use related to evaluating our services. You may not:
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy content without permission;
- Reverse engineer website functionality;
- Introduce malware or attempt unauthorised access;
- Use the website for unlawful purposes or to impersonate TrustLife Legal;
- Submit false enquiries or abuse contact forms;
- Frame or embed website content in a misleading context;
- Use automated bots to overwhelm our contact systems;
- Reproduce will templates or sample clauses from our Work page as if they were generic legal forms without professional review.
4. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, design, and code on trustlife.life are owned by or licensed to TrustLife Legal Pte. Ltd. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited except as permitted by law or with our written consent. The TrustLife name and The Atrium branding may not be used to imply endorsement or partnership without agreement.
5. Accuracy of information
We strive to keep website content accurate and current but make no warranties as to completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Law changes frequently; content may become outdated. Verify information with us before relying on it for decisions. Examples on our Work page are anonymised and illustrative only. Estate planning outcomes depend on your specific assets, family structure, and applicable law at the relevant time.
6. Third-party links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not endorse or control third-party content and are not responsible for their terms, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access, to the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law. We do not warrant that the website will be error-free or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustLife Legal Pte. Ltd. and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use or inability to use the website, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility.
Our aggregate liability for website-related claims shall not exceed SGD 100 except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TrustLife Legal Pte. Ltd. against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website, including submission of unlawful content or automated abuse of our forms.
10. Privacy and cookies
Personal data collected through the website is handled per our Privacy Policy. Cookies are described in our Cookie Policy. By using the website you acknowledge those policies apply to your interactions.
11. Contact form
By submitting our contact form you confirm that information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you consent to processing as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use honeypot and technical measures to reduce spam. False submissions may be reported to relevant authorities.
12. Availability and maintenance
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the website or any feature without notice. We are not liable for downtime, maintenance, or third-party hosting failures. Scheduled maintenance is performed during low-traffic periods where possible.
13. User content
Information you submit through forms or email remains yours. You grant us a licence to use submissions solely to respond and provide services you request. We are not obliged to treat unsolicited ideas as confidential unless covered by a separate agreement.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts for disputes arising from website use, subject to any mandatory arbitration in a separate client engagement.
15. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
16. Entire agreement for website use
These Terms together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding website use. They do not replace engagement letters governing legal services. In case of conflict between these Terms and an engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails for legal services.
17. Not a lifestyle, financial, or guaranteed-outcome service
TrustLife Legal is a Singapore law practice. Use of this website does not create any relationship with wellness providers, financial advisers, document-scanning apps, or guaranteed-outcome services. Misreadings of our ".life" domain — including associations with life coaching, robo-advisers, or will-template download shops — do not create obligations beyond these Terms and applicable law. See our FAQ for clarification.
18. Assignment
We may assign our rights under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or restructuring. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
19. Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later. Waivers must be in writing to be effective.
20. Electronic communications
By contacting us electronically you consent to receive responses by email or telephone at the contact details you provide. We do not guarantee encryption of email unless we agree secure channels separately. Do not transmit highly confidential documents until we confirm an engagement and provide appropriate transfer instructions. Electronic signatures and PDF exchanges for engagement letters are accepted where permitted by law.
21. Accessibility
We aim to make trustlife.life reasonably accessible to users with disabilities, including keyboard navigation and readable contrast under our light Atrium design system. If you encounter accessibility barriers, contact [email protected] and we will endeavour to provide information in an alternative format where practicable.
22. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in website availability caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, government actions, or pandemic-related restrictions. Legal services under active engagement are governed by the force majeure terms in the relevant engagement letter.
23. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Review this page periodically. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
